’345s’ GO WEST FOR HAYES SHUTTLES

FIVE SEVEN-CAR Class 345s moved from Ilford depot to Old Oak Common in west London ahead of the start of TfL Rail services out of Paddington on 20 May.

Transport for London has ordered 70x9-car ‘345s’ from Bombardier, but 15 of these have been delivered as seven-car units as the terminal platforms at Liverpool Street cannot accommodate nine-car sets until they are extended next autumn.
