THE FIRST electric passenger services on the Gospel Oak to Barking line (GOBLIN) operated on 28 January 2019, using a four-car Class 378 EMU.

Transport for London has ordered 54 new Class 710 Aventra EMUs from Bombardier for various London Overground routes. These were due to enter service last year on the GOBLIN, but the fleet has suffered a series of delays while Bombardier continues to carry out software development and mileage testing.
