With a new owner, a new timetable introduced and a new fleet of trains on the way, c2c Managing Director JULIAN DRURY updates PHILIP SHERRATT on developments with the Essex Thameside operation

Three years is a long time on the railway, although for some operators in recent times that would probably be measured in weeks or months. But the last three years have seen major change at c2c – the operator has managed a somewhat turbulent timetable change, seen a change of owning group and ordered a new fleet of trains.
