Electrification of the Great Western main line in South Wales from the Severn Tunnel to Cardiff is pressing ahead. The appearance of overhead line equipment (OLE) is providing some reassurance that an end to years of engineering disruption is in sight, although the target of completion this year looks unlikely to be met.
