Gove opens Siemens’ components facility in Goole

Overhaul business moves from Leeds

Siemens Mobility has inaugurated its new component facility at its site in Goole, which was officially opened by Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities Michael Gove on 20 April.

The £7 million facility is located within Siemens Mobility’s rail village at Goole, where the company is also a manufacturing facility which will build new trains for London Underground’s Piccadilly Line.
