INTERSERVE WINS STATIONS DEAL

INTERSERVE HAS been awarded a five-year, £65 million facilities management contract covering 11 Network Railstations.

The company will deliver services such as waste management, landscaping, pest control and adverse weather management across the nine NR-managed London stations plus Reading and Bristol Temple Meads. Interserve says the partnership marks the first time that facilities services have been delivered by a single provider

As part of the deal, Interserve plans to introduce initiatives to improve waste recycling and new equipment to enhance standards and productivity. The company also says it will support apprenticeships, training and work experience programmes across the account.
