IN A change from our normal format, our first guest speaker of the 2017-18 session will talk to a breakfast meeting. Jacqueline Starr has been Managing Director of Customer Experience at Rail Delivery Group since September 2015, having previously held senior customer experience roles in the banking and telecoms sectors. Her talk will be titled ‘Mobility as a service’, and the meeting will start at 08.30 in the Grand Terrace Function Rooms at the Betjeman Arms, London St Pancras International.

SIMON FEAST WRITES:

As previously trailed, our new President Neil Micklethwaite has started the 2017-18 session with a new format for our October London meeting. We would welcome feedback on what members think of such a format, as we are looking at some new ideas of how we can do things a little bit differently over the coming year of exciting transformation for the RSA.

As Modern Railways went to press, discussions were ongoing with the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) as to the details of the merger to form one of its rail fora. Details will be sent to members once these are finalised.

You can read Modern Railways’ write-ups of previous RSA talks on the Activities – Past Meetings page of the website.
