ARUP’S SHARON Lee has been recognised as STEM Leader of the Year at the 2019 Black British Business Awards. Ms Lee is an Associate Director and leads the rail business for Arup’s project management team, managing teams focused on operations and asset management on large infrastructure portfolios. She has also played an active role in developing Arup’s company policy to increase diversity in recruitment pipelines, working with the Arup UK leadership to establish a Directorate of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion. She joined Arup as a graduate before moving to Network Rail in 2004, returning to the company 10 years later.
