Developing railway professionals

Simon Feast writes: The RSA programme has now finished for the 2016-17 session and we are working on the programme for the next year. The London session was rounded off by an interesting and wellattended presentation from Nick Hughes, Sales Director at Hitachi. Look out for a write-up of that in a future issue of Modern Railways.

As Modern Railways went to press we were preparing for the Extraordinary General Meeting to be held on 19 June, details of which were circulated to paid-up RSA members. I will write about the outcome of that in next month’s column.

You can read a write up of David Horne’s talk on Virgin Trains East Coast, on page 50 in this issue of Modern Railways. You can also read Modern Railways’ write-ups of previous RSA talks on the Activities – Past Meetings page of the website.

Please note that the RSA postal address for all correspondence has changed to: Railway Study Association, PO Box 1210, Chislehurst, BR7 9BU. Please enclose a stamped addressed envelope for a reply by letter mail. You can also contact the RSA by e-mail to: secretary@ railwaystudyassociation.org.

If you wish to keep up to date with developments you can follow us on Twitter @railwaystudy and also on Facebook using the link on our website.

Hear the speakers, ask the questions and then read all about it in Modern Railways.
