SHORTENED HIGH SPEED TRAINS ARE SET TO BRING A STEP-CHANGE IN QUALITY ON LONG-DISTANCE SERVICES NORTH OF THE BORDER, AS PHILIP SHERRATT REPORTS

A transformation on Scotland’s inter-city routes – that’s what ScotRail is planning. From next year 26 shortened HSTs will be introduced on services linking Scotland’s seven cities (Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness, Perth and Stirling).
