SCOTRAIL’S SEVEN CITIES HST

Fresh out of Brush Traction at Loughborough and wearing the operator’s new ‘seven cities’ livery, ScotRail power cars Nos 43033 and 43148 pass Trowell with the 0S04 08.10 Loughborough Brush to Craigentinny depot move on 13 February 2018. ScotRail is introducing 26 shortened HSTs in 2+4 and 2+5 formations on its inter-city routes connecting Scotland’s seven cities later this year. The power cars are receiving modifications at Brush while the Mk 3 coaches are being overhauled and fitted with power doors by Wabtec at Doncaster. All the stock for ScotRail’s HSTs has been released from Great Western Railway. Steve Donald
