Network Rail explains how the cross-London project has shown the way
The Thameslink Programme is a big project by any standards, aimed at transforming rail travel across London. To meet the Programme’s objectives the partners – the Department for Transport, Network Rail, Govia Thameslink Railway, Southeastern and Siemens – had to deliver new infrastructure, better stations, new technology and new trains.
