Another quiet month.

ANGLIA

Between Brentwood and Shenfield (2:5B)

As part of the ongoing Crossrail remodelling works, new pointwork continues to be installed in this area. Included in this are the points as shown in the 2016 Eastern Quail on the Up and Down Main lines to the west of Shenfield station. Between Colchester and Clacton (2:6A) The existing footpath crossing at Frating Abbey (60M 18ch) has been equipped with red and green warning lights operated by approaching trains, including wrong way working, and therefore has been upgraded to an R/G-X crossing. Telephones have also been provided to the controlling signal box at Colchester.
