Nexus Alpha outlines the progress made in information provision on the railways

Some two decades ago, our very first web pages for train operating companies (TOCs) contained live lists of route and train service disruption affecting the operator, boldly proclaiming ‘good service’ if there was no disruption. Shortly afterwards, we developed a real-time interactive disruption map for Transport for London for the UITP conference in London, highlighting the disruption on the different Underground lines.
